WWE smackdown results 14 november 2014

WWE Smackdown Results
the show.
A video kicks off the show that recaps both Team Cena and Team Authority trying to vie for the services of Ryback. Ryback initially sided with The Authority, but after they interfered in his main event match against John Cena, he turned on them. Ryback's allegiances were still unclear at the conclusion of the broadcast. Luke Harper also returned by attacking Dolph Ziggler and inserting himself into Team Authority.
Tom Phillips, Michael Cole, and JBL welcome us to the show. There is another commentary table next to them.
The Highlight Reel with special guests The Authority
The countdown starts before the pyro explodes. Chris Jericho then makes his way to the ring to a great ovation. Jericho hasn't been seen since he lost to Randy Orton at Night of Champions. Jericho says, "Liverpool, welcome to Smackdown is Jericho!" Jericho says he's been away from WWE for a couple of months, but he still keeps his eye on everything going on. There are a few things he wants to know. The first is something very serious: who is Adam Rose's Bunny? That guy is awesome. Jericho thinks it's Funaki. A "Funaki" chant breaks out, and Jericho says that may be the first. Jericho knows if Team Authority loses at Survivor Series, they'll be stripped of power. Jericho then introduces The Authority to the ring.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon make their entrance to the ring. Stephanie mimics Jericho's entrance on the way down. They get in the ring and shake hands with Jericho. Stephanie wants him to kiss her hand, but he pretends like he's going to gag. A quick "Where's out network?" chant breaks out, and Jericho says everyone wants to know that. Jericho then says it's time to cut through all the excuses. He wants to know why they asked to come on The Highlight Reel. Stephanie says that's not the question. The question is why they invited Jericho to Smackdown. How long has it been since they've had The Highlight Reel on Smackdown? How long has it been since Jericho has been in Liverpool? Stephanie says they give the WWE Universe what they really want. In all seriousness, they like to have fun with the audience. They wouldn't have a show without the WWE Universe and everyone in the arena. They represent the hard working men and women of this world overcoming adversity on a daily basis. That's why they need superstars and divas they can respect. What her father is doing to her and her husband is what they've been doing to the WWE locker room. They're making superstars and divas fight for what they believe in. That's why everyone still chants, "YES!" A small "YES!" chant breaks out. Stephanie says Daniel Bryan has been gone for months, but they still chant because he overcame the odds. Where would Bryan be without The Authority? Where would Superman be without Lex Luthor? Where would WWE be without a McMahon in charge? Who could possibly run WWE except The Authority?
Jericho says he could run the WWE, and that gets a nice hand. Jericho says he likes what John Cena said on RAW. Cena said The Authority doesn't need to run the WWE. The WWE Universe can run the WWE. It's not rocket science. If they like it, they'll say "yes" or "no." Jericho does a quick poll. If the crowd was running the WWE, would they like to see Triple H lick his boots and shine his shoes? A "YES!" chant breaks out. Jericho asks if they'd like to see Triple H clean the toilets in the back, and another "YES!" chant breaks out. Finally, Jericho asks if they'd like to see Stephanie soiled in a cesspool of filth like she has been before. Jericho then throws it to the obscenely expensive Jeritron 9000, and a replay is shown of Vickie Guerrero throwing Stephanie into a pool of mud last June. Jericho asks if they want to see it again, but Triple H cuts him off.
Triple H asks if they really think that is funny. The thing is he doesn't need Jericho's acceptance. They don't need anyone's acceptance. They don't need it from anyone in the back or in the crowd. The wolf does not ask to be embraced by sheep. Triple H tells Jericho to enjoy his laugh because at Survivor Series, Team Authority will tear through Team Cena. When The Authority does what it always does and wins, who will be laughing then? It won't be Jericho or the crowd. It'll be The Authority. Triple H then turns to leave, but he turns around. Triple H gets in Jericho's face and says he needs to keep that in mind the next time he picks up the phone to ask to get his fix of the WWE Universe. Maybe the next time he calls, maybe The Authority won't be so accepting. Maybe by then, they'll have erased Jericho from the history books of WWE. The Authority then leaves the ring.
Jericho says he doesn't see an arena full of puppets. Jericho sees an arena full of Jerichoholics. Jericho does like to sing, and he'll sing it when they lose at Survivor Series. Jericho then has the crowd sing "Kiss Him Goodbye (Hey, Hey, Hey, Goodbye)." Triple H angrily looks at Jericho from the top of the ramp.
Bray Wyatt will be in action, next.

Match Rating: 1/2 *
The lights go out, and Wyatt is in the middle of the ring with a microphone. Wyatt says he can hear Dean Ambrose. Wyatt can feel him in his chest and in his heart, he can hear Ambrose screaming for help. He knows about all those nights Ambrose felt unloved and unwanted. Wyatt knows how Ambrose would wake up every Christmas morning thinking his father would return, only to be disappointed. The darkness has become a way of life for Ambrose. Wyatt tells Ambrose to embrace him because he is the light he's been searching for his entire life. Wyatt wants to fix him.
Dean Ambrose's music hits, and he charges his way down to the ring. Wyatt slides out of the ring as Ambrose gets in. Wyatt says Ambrose is right on time, so hostile. Ambrose is a hero ready to change the day at any time. Wyatt says Ambrose is so predictable. All he has to do is pull the strings, and Ambrose comes out with rage. Ambrose wants to hurt him. Wyatt dares him to punish him like he wants to punish his daddy. Wyatt gets in the ring, and Ambrose punches him in the face. Wyatt quickly gets out of the ring. Wyatt says Ambrose wears the mask of a lunatic, but he knows that he's just a child screaming for someone to show him the way. Wyatt says, "Have no fear, Dean, because I am the key to the light. Follow me, and you will never be in the dark again."
The commentators talk about what just happened. Dolph Ziggler will be defending his WWE Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat elimination match against Cesaro and Tyson Kidd.

Match Rating: *
Adam Rose stands over The Bunny and berates him before hitting him with Party Foul.
Byron Saxton is backstage with Dolph Ziggler. Saxton says Ziggler has had a tumultuous few weeks in WWE. Replays are shown of Seth Rollins nearly beating him for the title on Monday Night RAW a week and a half ago. Then Ziggler had to face Kane in a Steel Cage match, but he pulled out a win. Then Luke Harper viciously attacked him at the conclusion of RAW. Saxton asks about having to defend the title tonight. Ziggler says he somehow has survived everything The Authority has thrown at him. Curb Stomps, World's Strongest Slams, Steel Cage matches against monsters, and Luke Harper. Now he's defending the Intercontinental Championship. If he loses, he's going down with a fight. He'll still be on Team Cena at Survivor Series. The Authority is on borrowed time. The clock is ticking. All he has to do for the next ten days is do what he does best: survive. At Survivor Series, if his team survives, that means The Authority doesn't.
A video package then plays for the "biggest free agent" in WWE, Ryback.
Byron Saxton is now backstage with Ryback. After defying The Authority on RAW, will Ryback be on Team Cena? Ryback says his only team is Team Ryback. The only person who needs to worry about surviving is that big stupid dummy, Kane. They were right in trying to recruit The Big Guy. What we saw on RAW was an itty, bitty appetizer. His appetite is insatiable. Unfortunately for Kane, it's almost feeding time.

The Authority’s music hits. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon make their way to the ring accompanied by Jamie Noble, Joey Mercury, Seth Rollins, Mark Henry, Kane, Rusev, Lana, and their new member, Luke Harper. The crowd boos them as they stand in the ring. Triple H says three weeks ago, the Chairman and CEO of WWE Vince McMahon came in the ring and added a stipulation to the match between Team Cena and Team Authority at Survivor Series. If The Authority lost, they would be out of power. No more power, period. Triple H asks if the crowd would like that, and they answer in the affirmative. Triple H says they’d like to see them as regular employees like they are. A “YES!” chant breaks out.
Stephanie McMahon tells them to remember this feeling. She asks how it feels to want. Triple H says they have no idea what they wish for. They’re sheep. They need someone to lead them. Triple H says it’s ironic that Vince McMahon comes to the ring as a hero, but years ago when he was running WWE with an iron fist, he was the evil Mr. McMahon. That’s their role now. As The Authority rules the WWE, they are seen as the evil empire. They cannot see what they do for them. They’re just sheep. They’d rather have the inmates run the asylum. Inmates like John Cena and Dolph Ziggler. The last place he could recall where the inmates ran the asylum was WCW. Triple H says they picked that company up at the auction after the inmates ran the asylum. Triple H says they cannot and will not let that happen.
It all comes down to one match at Survivor Series. Team Authority, the most dominant and destructively lethal team ever developed, captained by the future and the standard bearer of WWE, Seth Rollins, will square off with Team Cena, a group of self-righteous malcontents led by the golden boy of malcontents, John Cena. If they win, the WWE thrives and everyone benefits. They can’t lose. Triple H is glad that the WWE Network is free for the month of November. It’s free for everyone to witness the greatest victory that The Authority and himself have ever had. WWE will go on under their leadership.
Stephanie says that’s this Sunday. What about tonight? In spite of their attempts to get Team Cena on the right page and see what’s truly best for business, they continue to side with their captain, John Cena. They’ve left them no other choice for how to deal with business tonight. Triple H says Team Cena will be decimated either figuratively or literally. At the end of the night, we’ll have the biggest contract signing in the history of WWE. We’ll see who is left and has the guts to sign their names next to John Cena’s.
Stephanie says they know who will be signing with Team Authority. Stephanie then introduces Seth Rollins, Mark Henry, Kane, Rusev, and Luke Harper. Harper says into the microphone, “I’m a team player.” Stephanie says he is, and they’re proud to have him on their team. Their team is a complete team unlike Cena’s, which is down a competitor. That leads her to Ryback. They thought he’d be a member of Team Authority. Unfortunately, some things went awry. As a businesswoman, she’s seen it happen before. Team Authority isn’t going anywhere.
Ryback’s music hits, and he makes his way out to the stage to a great reception. A big “Feed me more” chant breaks out. Ryback says The Authority wants what’s best for business. John Cena wants what’s best for the WWE Universe. Ryback wants what’s best for Ryback. Stephanie says she understands and respects that. Respect is a very important word to her as a McMahon and a member of Team Authority. She understands that tensions ran a little high. Some made decisions that they regret, and she looks at Kane. Kane disingenuously says, “I regret what transpired.” Stephanie says Ryback doesn’t have to believe her, but what he needs to think about is if he wants to join John Cena, who has absolutely no respect for him. Stephanie then shows footage of Cena talking to Ryback last year, saying he doesn’t have a brain or testicles. Stephanie says the footage doesn’t lie. She doesn’t know why Cena said those things, but her guess is that he’s jealous. Cena is jealous of The Big Guy. Cena downright loathes him. Stephanie asks if that is someone he wants to go to battle with. Does Ryback want the contempt of Team Cena or the respect of Team Authority?
Ryback stares at them before saying he plays for the one team he can count on, and that’s Team Ryback. Ryback then turns and walks off. Triple H says that’s a wise decision to stay neutral. It’s a wise decision. For everyone else in the fight, the decimation starts now. The newly found team player Luke Harper will stay in the ring and begin the decimation. Harper will decimate a man who is a suck up, a show off, and spits in the face of authority. Dolph Ziggler’s time is up. His time is now.
Dolph Ziggler’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. He’ll face Luke Harper, next.

-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Harper slam Ziggler down by the hair. The referee is continually checking on Ziggler. Harper holds him up for a delayed vertical suplex before letting him down and giving him an uppercut for a near fall. During the commercial, Harper hit Ziggler with a guillotine catapult. Harper executes a gator roll before stopping and cinching in a chin lock. Ziggler eventually fights up and hits a jawbreaker. Harper charges him in the corner, but Ziggler sidesteps him, causing Harper to hit the ring post shoulder first. Ziggler quickly follows up with a famouser for a near fall. Rollins and his security crew look very antsy at ringside. Harper blocks a superkick and hits a swinging sidewalk slam for a near fall. Harper throws his hands in the air and waits for Ziggler to get to his feet. Harper goes for a discus clothesline, but Ziggler superkicks him for a near fall. -Commercial Break-
Replays are shown of Bray Wyatt costing Dean Ambrose his match at Hell in a Cell three weeks ago. Wyatt then attacked Ambrose backstage at Smackdown last Friday and gave him Sister Abigail into the cement wall of the arena.
Bray Wyatt address Dean Ambrose and his problems
Bray Wyatt makes his way to the ring. The crowd uses their cell phone lights to create a truly tremendous spectacle. Wyatt gets in the ring and says they have lied to us all right from the beginning. They try to convince us that love can make us richer than money could. Love is the most precious gift we could ever receive, but what they forgot to mention is that everything you love can be ripped away from you at the drop of a hat. A man that has nothing to love or lose is the most dangerous man in this world. Poor Dean Ambrose. For people like Ambrose, every day is another pathetic attempt to express himself. A man like Ambrose has no choice. He’ll end up in the same misery day after day. If Ambrose takes anything away from this, he prays that he doesn’t mistake his generosity for something malignant. It is true that he had to get his attention by any means necessary. Wyatt promises that he comes in peace today. Wyatt knows Ambrose still feels the torment he’s suffered, but that was a gift. Wyatt knows the pains Ambrose has endured in this lifetime. A mother who drowned herself in her own misery rather than taking care of a baby boy. His father abandoned him. Wyatt wants Ambrose to see the salvation he can offer. Wyatt wants Ambrose to feel how he can save him. Wyatt prays that he can see that their souls are intertwined. Wyatt tells Ambrose to embrace “us,” and he’ll make this all go away.
Ambrose’s voice sounds through the arena asking if the microphone is on. Ambrose is shown on the titantron, and he’s backstage. Ambrose says Wyatt can stop talking now. Ambrose says he heard Wyatt the first time at Hell in a Cell and the night after. Every long winded, rambling, meandering word has been heard. It’s like nails on a chalkboard, and he can’t stand it. Ambrose says he’s trying to see things Wyatt’s way. Wyatt wants to save him. That’s why he’s bringing up old bones from his past. It’s not because he’ll get an edge at Survivor Series or get in his head. Maybe he can learn something from Wyatt. Today, he learned a spooky magic trick of his own. Ambrose says this message was recorded on his buddy’s cell phone earlier today. Ambrose says he’s already in the arena before saying, “Run.”
Ambrose attacks Wyatt from behind, and he punches away at him. Ambrose takes him down and continues to strike him. Wyatt eventually gets out of the ring and storms up the ramp. They’ll do everything they can to make sure his team can’t show up at Survivor Series, but hopefully they persevere. Renee asks if that includes Ryback, and Cena says Ryback has made it obvious that he’s only on Team Ryback. Cena then walks off.

-Commercial Break-
Lana asks for silence from the crowd. She says they had to handle the disrespect of President Putin at the G20 Summit. Lana tells the crowd to shut up as they chant for USA. -Commercial Break-
Big Show is waiting in the ring for an opponent when Stephanie McMahon’s music hits. She makes her way to the ring to no reaction and gets in. Stephanie says she was watching “The Monday Night War” on the WWE Network, which is available for free to new subscribers, and she saw Big Show’s debut. She saw that Big Show was billed as André The Giant’s son. She realized that he has always been in someone’s shadow. Big Show always wanted to be the guy in the main event drawing the people into the building. The problem is Big Show thinks it’s up to the people. They don’t decide who is in the main event. The Authority does. As a result, Big Show has been conflicted. Does he pander to or resent the people? All he had to do was listen to his boss. To show how The Authority can reward him IF he decides to step away from Team Cena, they will make him one of the only active competitors to ever be inducted into the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame. Big Show looks blown away. Stephanie says it’s a giant honor for a giant of a man.
A “NO!” chant lightly breaks out. Big Show stares at her, and she mouths something to him. Big Show takes some time to try to get the people to respond. Stephanie warns him to not listen to the people. She tells him to listen to those that can make the difference. Big Show says he will listen to the people, and his answer is no.
Sheamus’ music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. Sheamus says he’s proud to be part of Team Cena, just like Big Show is. Sheamus says he’ll be proud to make history on Sunday when they drive her and The Authority out of power. This time next week, the only reason he’ll have to see her or her husband is if she buys a ticket. Stephanie sarcastically laughs. She says she’s glad he came out. They had an issue at the office last week. When Sheamus came back from the UK, there was an issue with his passport. Sheamus isn’t an American citizen. It would be a shame if there were a clerical error that caused him to be deported.
She’ll give them another reason to consider leaving Team Cena. The two of them will be in action tonight against each other. To show there are no hard feelings and give them incentive, the winner will have the opportunity at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Stephanie says this match will start right now. The crowd does not react whatsoever.

Larry The Cable Guy threatens… er announces that he will be at RAW next week.
Contract signing for Team Authority vs. Team Cena at Survivor Series
The Authority makes their way to the ring as replays are shown of Team Cena being decimated. Triple H says this Sunday, live on the WWE Network, history will be made: Team Cena versus Team Authority. The Authority will stand tall because when it comes to the WWE… Triple H pauses before saying the crowd doesn’t get it. The WWE Universe has a passion for the company and says they love the WWE. John Cena will tell them that the loves the WWE, but they have no idea what it’s like for them. Every molecule of your being is this business. Your great-grandfather, grandfather, father, themselves, and their kids… this is the air they breathe. Triple H looks at Stephanie and says they cannot lose. Stephanie says they won’t lose. Triple H says she’s right. They won’t lose. Triple H turns to the team and says they cannot lose. This is the last chance for the members of Team Cena. This is their opportunity to back out. After this Sunday, if they don’t back out, they will wish that they had.
Stephanie says there is no shame in backing out. Sometimes it takes more courage to back out of a fight than it takes to start one. Her father challenged her and her husband to become better leaders for everyone. That’s what they’ve done. Their team is the most dominant and destructive force in WWE history. This team has decimated and annihilated Team Cena all night long. Stephanie then introduces Team Cena.
John Cena slowly makes his way out to the stage. He looks toward the stage, but no one comes out. Cena then smirks and walks down to the ring on his own. Triple H says it’s kind of ironic that he can’t see the rest of Cena’s team. Cena says Triple H has jokes. The jokes will stop this Sunday. This Sunday at Survivor Series will be the most important day of their lives. The WWE Universe will watch on the WWE Network for free, and they’ll see them lose for free and be out of power. Stephanie says, “You and what army are going to defeat this team?” Sheamus has already gone to the hospital because of what Team Authority did to him. No one stands with Cena because they value their lives and careers. Cena is too myopic to see that. No one will join him in his hopeless crusade and throw their lives away. Stephanie tells him to wake up. Cena tells her to not get used to telling anyone anything because they will lose this Sunday.
Cena thinks they have all their bases covered since they sabotaged every member of his team except the one who will show up on Sunday and make sure they lose. Cena sees what’s going on. They waltzed out every week and put the people to sleep while they talk about what’s best for business. Cena says they only do what’s best for themselves. Cena goes up to some members of the crowd, including two kids, and says they’ll be on his team. Cena says even if he went to war with those four individuals, there’s a difference between his team and theirs. His team has a passion for WWE.
Cena says he’ll give a preview of what’s going on. Cena says you cannot miss Survivor Series. The WWE Network is free this month. The King and Queen will saunter down to the ring to watch the dream team try to destroy John Cena at Survivor Series. They’ll think they have Cena outnumbered, but they’ll fall one by one. Kane will be the first. Kane, a former fire-breathing monster, the kin of The Undertaker, is now a suit wearing butt kisser. Luke Harper will fail next and return to the swamp with a swamp in his pants like Stephanie. Rusev will go down next, and then he’ll feed them Sexual Chocolate. The last one to go will be Seth Rollins. The last three seconds will feel like three years because their lives will flash before their eyes. It’ll be fitting that the rest of their time in WWE will be spent cleaning toilets. Stephanie slaps him in the face.
Cena moves the table and challenges Team Authority to a fight. Triple H rolls his eyes and leaves the ring open to him. Dolph Ziggler’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring holding his head. Ziggler stands by Cena. Big Show’s music hits, and he comes out to the ring to stand with his team. Erick Rowan’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. Harper looks like he’s seen a ghost. Harper and Rowan argue back and forth a bit. Stephanie looks shocked, but she says they’re still one man short. If he competes with four members it’s tantamount to career suicide.
A “Feed Me More” chant breaks out. Cesaro’s music hits, and he runs down to the ring. Cesaro then laughs at Cena and stands with Team Authority. Stephanie laughs heartily at the fake out. Ryback’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. A big brawl breaks out with Team Cena and Team Authority. Rollins kicks Cena, but Cena goes for an AA. Triple H runs in and punches Cena down. Triple H goes to give Cena a Pedigree, but Ryback gets in the ring behind him. Triple H stares at Ryback before Cena turns Triple H around and gives him an AA through the table! Team Cena stands tall in the ring as Stephanie checks on her husband.

This new video compares screenshots fromWWE 2K14 and WWE 2K15. As you can see, the difference is night and day.
The video shows wrestlers such as the Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Kane, Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, and more, with the closest copies between screenshots as possible. You can see the changes, not only in terms of level of detail, but in lighting and facial expression.
There is one qualification you need to keep in mind while watching this comparison video. Unlike WWE 2K15WWE 2K14 was a troubled production. The game was caught in the crossfire when THQ was dissolved following bankruptcy filings in 2012. The transfer of the IP’s ownership from THQ to Take Two Interactive may have been seamless, and Yuke’s and Visual Concepts were still able to deliver the game, but of course, they were not really able to make the game at its best.
Still, the use of new facial capture technology really did make a difference in the evolution of the game. There is no denying that WWE 2K15 will be the best looking wrestling game in the market upon release.
WWE 2K15 will be released on October 28 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and on November 18 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Both Big Show and Ken Shamrock were originally created and ready to be in the game but due to events leading up to the game's release, both were made unavailable to play. They both, however, sometimes enter a Royal Rumble match referred to as "Unknown". It is also possible to play them through the means of a GameShark. André the Giant, Jerry Lawler, Bob Backlund, and Sgt. Slaughter's bodies were available in Create-A-Wrestler mode, but their heads had to be hacked in with a cheat device such as a Gameshark. It was also possible to create Kane's 2000+ attire in Create-A-Wrestler mode as it was included as an unlockable upper and lower clothing part.)
Both Jeff Jarrett and Goldust were originally ready to be in the first installment of the game, however both left WWF for WCW before it was released. However, in 'WWF SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role', once you unlock all of the Create-A-Wrestler items, you can build both Jeff Jarrett and Goldust in full using Create-A-Wrestler mode. Jeff Jarrett has his theme music in the game, as Debra used the theme after he left for WCW.
